I was born in the Commercial City of Lagos, Nigeria on the 2nd of May, 1966 to Chief Ankwa Saleh and Mrs. Atuma Saleh of Otukpa in Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State. We then relocated to Kano State where I proceeded for my Primary Education at the Army Children School, Bukavu Barracks, Kano, Kano State. Afterwards, I returned back to Otukpa where I attended the Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Otukpa, Benue State. After my Secondary Education, I took my education a step further by attending the Federal School of Arts and Sciences, Suleja, Niger State where I obtained my Higher School Certificate (HSC/Advance Level). Subsequently I gained admission into the prestigious university of Jos, Plateau State to study Political Science. After graduation in 1990, proceeded for the mandatory one year National Youth Service programme that I carried out at Access Bank Plc., Lagos. As a young graduate, I got employed as an assistant supervisor/banking officer with Chartered Bank Plc. in 1992 where I worked for four glorious years in the Banking sector until 1996. I stepped my career up a notch by joining a private firm, Brown Bags Limited as General Manager where I worked for another five years (1996-2001). Within the five (5) years, I was head of the Cameroonian Branch of the company for two (2) years, from 1998 – 2000. With all the success I got working for others.
I decide to incorporate my own firm in 2002 called Tuareg Logistics Limited where I served as Managing Director and chief Executive Officer. I managed and nurtured this company into a strong brand for five (5) years before I ventured into the Public Sector. I had achieved so much that I felt it was time to give back and thought a good way to do that was to be the voice of my people (Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu) at the National Assembly. In 2011 I was elected into the Federal House of Representative where I presently serve as a Member of the House. It has been my pleasure to be the voice of my people, and I intend to continue in some capacity in the future.
